This weapon was inspired by the Lancehead F1, a crossbow that uses a complex system of pulleys and torsion springs to propel a bolt, instead of traditional recurve or compound limbs. This system allows the crossbow to have a much slimmer profile, making it more handy and compact like the form factor of a rifle.
I started with the thumbhole/skeleton stock from the Sniper Rifle, the drum magazine from the Riot Shotgun and the carry handle from the Assault Carbine. I also used the hammer from the Chinese Pistol, the .44 Revolver Scope, the front tines from the Tesla Cannon, the trigger from the Assault Carbine, the trigger guard from the 25mm Grenade APW, the handguard from the Laser Rifle, the magazine from the 12.7mm Submachine Gun, the receiver from the Silenced .22 SMG, the static car wheel rims, pieces from the Automated Turret, and cables from the Rivet City bridge.
