The Flechette Cartridge is a nominal 12.7mm straight-walled polymer cartridge containing three subcaliber fin-stabilized carbon steel darts, suspended in a sabot of inert liquid-crystal polymer microbeads. Due to their light weight and slim profile, the darts can achieve a much higher muzzle velocity than a conventional bullet of the same mass, making them exceptionally well-suited for armor penetration. However, their smaller profile also makes for a smaller wound channel, so more hits are required to dispatch a target.

This is a custom ammunition type created especially for the NIF-Bashed Weapons Mega-Pack.
