This weapon is loosely modeled after the Colt 633 DOE, a 9mm AR-pattern submachine gun made for the U.S. Department of Energy back in the 1980s, to arm their security forces that guard nuclear power plants and plutonium shipments in transit. It's basically an M16 with a tiny 7“ barrel, converted to fire 9x19mm ammunition fed from Uzi-pattern magazines.
I started with the base game Assault Carbine mesh and collapsed the buttstock. Then, I added the heat shield from the Incinerator, the front sight from the Grenade Rifle, and the sling loop from the Service Rifle. Finally, I replaced the magazine with the one from the 9mm Submachine Gun.
