This ain't your grandpappy's BB gun, sonny – Not only will it shoot your eye out, it'll take off your whole damn head! Its two-stage firing process uses a spring piston air pump to send the BB down the barrel where it's further accelerated to hypersonic velocities by the electromagnetic coils to hit with the force of a full-sized rifle cartridge. With the cost of ammo on the rise, it's nice to be able to reach out and touch someone in a fiscally-responsible manner.
I started with the base game Sniper Rifle mesh and removed everything except for the butt pad and barrel shroud, which I mirrored into a full-length oval shape. I then added the barrel, receiver, magazine, and various other bits and pieces from the Bozar light machine gun, the scope and coils from the Gauss Rifle, the charging handle and slot from the Silenced .22 SMG, the pistol grip from the C4 Detonator, and the sling mounts from the Marksman Carbine.
Although an airgun's hopper can theoretically hold hundreds of BBs, this weapon's magazine capacity is limited to twenty rounds because the battery can only provide enough power to energize the coils that many times before it needs to be swapped out. Thus, it's pointless to load in any more than that at a time.
