This weapon was very loosely inspired by the Lahti L-39 anti-tank rifle that was produced by Finland in the early years of World War II. As tank armor became thicker and more difficult to penetrate, this weapon's primary use shifted to long-range sniping, tank harassment, and eventually saw use in an anti-aircraft role.
I started with the base game Gauss Rifle mesh and removed the coils, scope, crank handle, and Microfusion Cell loading chamber before stitching the front and back halves together. I then moved the magazine to the top of the gun and rigged it to use the 12.7mm Submachine Gun reload animation. I added the barrel from the Holorifle, extended the Gauss Rifle's muzzle device, and added the muzzle brake from the Grenade Machinegun. I then added the front sight from This Machine, the rear sight from the Automatic Rifle, and the magazine release paddle from the legacy-content Assault Rifle.
