Singularity Engine

This weapon, loosely modeled after the Arasaka HLR-12X Heavy Laser Rifle from the 1988 film Akira, along with influence taken from the Nintendo Super Scope, generates a micro-black hole that will trap and crush nearby enemies.

Parts Used

I started with the Bozar mesh from the Gun Runners' Arsenal DLC and removed everything but the receiver. I then added the shoulder pad of the Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun from the Lonesome Road DLC, the barrel sleeve from the Grenade Machine Gun, the pistol grip and trigger from the Marksman Carbine, the trigger guard from the 12.7mm Submachine Gun, the magazine from the Riot Shotgun, the control box and sighting system from the Missile Launcher, the Varmint Rifle Night Scope, the barrel from the Gatling Laser, and the handguard from the Light Machine Gun.

Usage Notes

Seeing as how a black hole's gravity is so intense that even light cannot escape, it should go without saying that all items carried by someone who is killed by this weapon are lost forever. However, this could cause problems if that person is carrying a quest-relevant note or key. Entering the console command set aaaGLOBBlackHoleSaveQuestItems to 1 will automatically transfer all notes and keys on the victim to the player's inventory.

Procurement

This weapon must be purchased from Dr. Quarton, and cannot otherwise be obtained without console commands.

Project #E-598-S - "Singularity Engine"

Experiments in gravitational hyperdensity have yielded fruit. While immense
levels of power are required, it has been proven possible to generate a
microsingulairty in normal space. This projector is necessary to do so
safely, allowing the operator to remain outside the range of the event
horizon. Results of accidental contact with the event horizon have been
unfortunate and... messy.
