Matter Annihilator

This is a fully-automatic energy weapon firing projectiles that explode on impact. Its appearance is loosely inspired by the Ferromagnetic Infantry-use Next Generation Railgun from the 2020 remake of the videogame Resident Evil 3, albeit shrunk down to a less ridiculous size and not permanently tethered to a wall. The projectile effect was inspired by the classic photon torpedo from Star Trek, which derives its destructive power from a matter/antimatter annihilation reaction.

Parts Used

I started with the base game Gauss Rifle mesh and removed everything except for the coils, which I hollowed out. I then added the front forks and other pieces from the Tesla Cannon, the front carrying handle from the Minigun, the receiver from the Flamer (retextured using the Tesla Cannon texture), and the firing handle from the Arc Welder.

This weapon must be purchased from Dr. Quarton, and cannot otherwise be obtained without console commands.

Project #E-1066-G - "Matter Annihilator"

I have yet to encounter a more efficient or energy-dense material as
antimatter. A mere tenth of a gram coming into contact with a tenth of a
gram of ordinary matter would produce almost 9 million megajoules of
energy! Staggering to think about! Needless to say, handling it is extremely
dangerous, so I built this applicator.

Just a few nanograms of antimatter are suspended within an electromagnetic
envelope, which is then accelerated to a safe distance away. As soon as the
electromagnetic field dissipates, the antimatter will annihilate the first
bit of ordinary matter it encounters, releasing a tremendous explosion of
energy.

I have yet to find a practical application for this, however. If I could
harness the energy output somehow, it might make for an excellent self-
sustaining power source.
