This is a unique energy weapon inspired by the X-Gun from the anime/manga series Gantz, which fires a wave of compressed energy that takes time to deliver its effect on target, after which point the target violently explodes. While powerful, this delay between firing and any observable physical effect means that the target still has a chance to kill the wielder.

Parts Used

I started with the legacy-content Alien Atomizer mesh from the Mothership Zeta DLC for Fallout 3 and removed the topmost barrel, replacing it with the stubbier bottom barrel. I then rounded off the pistol grip, and changed the Alien Power Cell out for a standard Micro Fusion Cell. I also added the small screen from the Scrap Electronics mesh.

This weapon must be purchased from Dr. Quarton, and cannot otherwise be obtained without console commands.

This weapon was initially developed as a medical device to allow even unskilled surgeons to perform quick, clean and easy incisions, dissections, etc. However, negligence on the part of its designers allows its power level to be tweaked far beyond its safety limits, weaponizing it to violently dismember limbs.
