This weapon is inspired by the kind of AR-pattern pistol-caliber carbines that are rapidly gaining popularity in the shooting community due to their enhanced accuracy compared to a handgun, while also being lighter weight and easier to handle (less noise and recoil) compared to a rifle. Some can even directly accept pistol magazines, simplifying logistics.
I started with the base game Assault Carbine mesh and collapsed the buttstock. Then, I shortened the handguard and barrel, and widened and flared the front sight blade to make it more useable. Finally, I replaced the magazine with the one from the 10mm Pistol.

This weapon applies a damage bonus against human targets that do not have a weapon unholstered, and a second damage bonus against any target that is shot in the back. Both damage bonuses will stack, so a human target shot in the back when they have no weapon equipped will receive double the bonus damage.
