This weapon is an ornamental ceremonial blade, looking like some combination of an Ethiopian shotel or Egyptian khopesh crossed with a Japanese woodworking saw.
When I first saw the front fork of the Plasma Caster, the shape reminded me of the kind of ugly, impractical “mall ninja shit” that can often be found for sale at flea markets and gas stations. Typically made in China out of cheap metal and adorned with skulls, dragons, spikes, and fake plastic jewels, these utterly useless knives are often the prized possessions of incels and edgelords who “studied the blade” while everyone else was going to parties and getting laid. Ultimately, I went for a more elegant, refined look rather than try to replicate the gaudy ostentatiousness of the knives that inspired it.
I started with the base game Plasma Caster mesh, took one of the tines from the front fork and removed some faces to bevel it into a blade. I then added the handle from the Throwing Hatchet, shortening it a bit so that it looked balanced next to the blade.
