Antimatter Cell

Antimatter is a substance that is composed of anti-particles. An ordinary particle and its anti-particle both have the same mass but opposite electric charge, and a collision between the two leads to their mutual annihilation. This results in an immense release of energy, proportional to the total mass of the collided matter and antimatter (\( E = m c ^ 2 \)).

The Antimatter Cell serves as a magnetic containment device – using electromagnets within a near-vacuum to create an area with an increasing density of magnetic field lines at either end of the confinement area. This prevents the highly-volatile antimatter from coming into contact with ordinary matter and annihilating itself before intended.

This is a custom ammunition type created especially for the NIF-Bashed Weapons Mega-Pack.
