This weapon is a unique Coilgun, visually inspired by the Arcflash Labs GR-1 "Anvil", as well as by Korath's gun from the 2014 film Guardians of the Galaxy. Its function is reminiscent of the crossbow from the 2004 videogame Half-Life 2, which fires lengths of heated rebar that can pin enemies to walls.
I started with the base game Gauss Rifle mesh and removed everything except for the scope and coils, which I hollowed out. I then added the receiver from the Bozar, the pistol grip from Sleepytyme, the drum magazine from the Light Machine Gun, the upper rail and handguard from the Marksman Carbine, and the cylinder from the stock of the Plasma Rifle, retextured with the barrel of the Gatling Laser to look like capacitors. Lastly, I rigged the entire mesh to use the 12.7mm Submachine Gun reload animation.

Project #G-416-K - "S.P.I.K.R." Experimenting with electromagnets has led to what I've dubbed the Superheated Penetrative Incendiary Kinetic Rifle. By accelerating a metal rod to hypersonic velocities, not only will it punch through just about anything, the friction created by air resistance causes the rod to become red hot. More often than not, this results in setting fire to whatever thing was hit. I have yet to come up with a practical use for this project. Not too many people need to have fires lit through several reinforced concrete walls, after all. No matter, I'll shelve this for now and if a need for it arises, I'll know where to find it.
