Relay Conduit

This device is a throwable that will teleport a pre-selected person to the point of impact. It's intended to allow the user to instantly summon reinforcements, but the potential for misuse and abuse is high.

Parts Used

I started with the unused Cryo Grenade mesh found in the Fallout 3 game files, and retextured it using the texture from the Pulse Mine. I then added a microfusion cell.

Usage Notes

Placing the Relay Transponder in the inventory of an NPC will mark them as the relay target. When the grenade is thrown, the selected NPC will be teleported to the “explosion” point.

When picking up the grenade, if you do not already have a Relay Transponder (or it has not been given to an NPC), one will be automatically added to your inventory. The FormID for the transponder is ##FBA00C, if you ever need to spawn one using the console.

The grenade can only summon one NPC at a time, and the player cannot teleport themselves if holding the transponder (that caused the game to crash for some reason).
