Sticky Wicket

The name comes from a colloquial expression meaning “a difficult situation,” which derives from the sport of cricket where a damp or muddy playing field (the wicket) makes playing the game more challenging.

Parts Used

I started with the base game Grenade Launcher mesh, removing the buttstock, chopping down the barrel, pump grip, and magazine tube, then folding down the leaf sight.

Usage Notes

When a human NPC is hit by the sticky bomb, they will perform the “grenade reverse-pickpocket” panicked pat-down animation before exploding into giblets, which will increment the Pants Exploded stat by one. Creatures will not do the animation, but will still explode after a short delay.

This weapon can also be used to set traps by sticking the bombs to a wall or floor and luring an NPC into range. The bombs will persist for about ten seconds before despawning (I didn't make them permanent because that would cause save bloat, and doing so also caused crashes during testing).

Procurement

This weapon must be custom built to order by Vlad, and cannot otherwise be obtained without console commands.
