The Final Frontiersman

A sci-fi twist on a frontier classic, this gun swaps out old-fashioned wood and steel with space-age carbon fiber and titanium, and bullets with batteries. The name is a reference to the spoken introduction from the television series Star Trek, which declares space to be “the final frontier”.

Parts Used

I started with the base game Trail Carbine mesh, removing the stock, handguard, barrel, and magazine tube. I retextured the remaining pieces with the cut-content Steel Forged Receiver, then added the stock from the Sniper Rifle, the railed handguard from the Marksman Carbine, the barrel and magazine tube from the Hunting Shotgun, and the barrel shroud from the Pulse Rifle. Lastly, I replaced the .357 Magnum cartridge for the reload animation with a battery, and added a micro red-dot sight.
