I wanted to make something that used Saturnite, since I thought the idea was interesting and I liked the shade of teal that most Saturnite-related things tend to be colored.
I started with the base game T-45d Power Armor mesh and adjusted the shapes to more closely resemble the T-60 Power Armor from Fallout 4 – mainly making the pauldrons smaller and slimming down the thighs. I then tinted the vertices teal and added the logo from the Saturnite-tipped artillery shell found in the Old World Blues DLC.
The helmet was made using the Enclave Hellfire Helmet as a base and adding the visor from the Radiation Suit, the round shoulder… nodule things from the NCR Salvaged Power Armor and the little round filter-looking things on the T-45d Power Armor's chestplate.
When the Player takes enough damage while wearing this armor (a randomly-generated number of hits between 10 and 15 that re-rolls after each blast), the armor will unleash a heat blast that will knock enemies down and inflict fire damage (-2HP for 5 seconds).
This armor must be purchased from "Honest" Herb, and cannot otherwise be obtained without console commands.
Due to its excellent heat-retention properties, Saturnite is the main component in this armor's ablative panels. It serves to absorb the incoming energy from lasers or plasma, and once it's reached capacity, the panel is jettisoned to vent the heat from the armor. The jettison charge also serves to shatter the panel into super-heated fragments of shrapnel that can injure bystanders. However, the loss of the paneling means the armor becomes less effective and degrades more quickly.
