This weapon is inspired by the Ares Shrike conversion kit that can turn an M16 rifle into a lightweight squad automatic weapon, as well as by the Para configuration of the M249 SAW which has a shorter barrel and a collapsible stock.
I started with the base game Light Machine Gun mesh and removed all the wooden furniture before shortening the barrel. I then added the railed handguard from the Marksman Carbine and the pistol grip from the C4 Detonator. Lastly, I rearranged the iron sights so that the post is in front and the aperture is in back.
